Here you will find what I know about my family. I have profiles for my relatives and their spouses. I also include immediate family members of spouses (parents, siblings, other spouses, other children) so that folks browsing get a little bit of context about them. I'm not really that rigid about these definitions though. I include sources, but I'm not as rigorous as some about their quality, particularly for in-laws and other folks who aren't related. (I.e., when documenting a spouse's parents, a family tree online somewhere is good enough for me.) Feel free to use the public information here without asking me. You're on your own as to proprietary rights claimed by others. Information about living people is hidden. If you are related, I'll let you see what information I have. Please don't place that information in a public place. Create an account and tell me who you are to see the rest of the tree. If you are related, please do contact me even if you don't want to see the tree. I'd love to correspond with you to get stories about the branches of my family that I never knew about until recently. My ultimate goal is to have something to give to my nephews when they want to know about their family in 15 to 20 years. - Philip
Descendants of Gertrude Voigt
25 June 2012 - 12:12:47am I've added a skeleton descendant tree for Gertrude Voigt, the youngest daughter of Agnes Thuernich and Theodore Voigt. A few more Voigt children to go still.
I should really update
3 June 2012 - 1:56:43pm New things since I last posted an update: The descendancy tree for Patrick Parker/Mary Murphy is reasonably complete, except for son John Parker. I don't know what happened to him. I've added quite a number of new grave photos taken on my cross country trip in January/February. There are more to come. I've also added a bunch of newspaper stuff related to the Solle family. I've begun adding 1940 census records for some families. As it isn't indexed for the most part, I've only added ones where I already knew where they lived. As a general note, I am most thorough about census records for direct ancestors, and load them in specific cases for collateral lines. Maybe some day in the future I'll get around to adding all census images. Phil.
Patrick Parker
20 December 2011 - 12:51:57pm I've got about 1000 of 1800 media items re-organized so far. It's far more involved that I expected. It's taking longer because I have been completing sub-trees and filling in blanks as I classify the media. I will be taking a trip soon and decided I should get a skeleton tree fleshed out for some of the incomplete branches. This way I can look for documentation on those branches while I travel. As part pf that fleshing out, I have completed a skeleton tree for Patrick Parker the second son of Patrick Parker. I now have sub-trees created for three of the children of Patrick Parker Sr: Stephen Parker (a small tree), Patrick Parker, and Mary Parker (my branch).
Re-organizing media
30 August 2011 - 12:19:19am I won't be adding a lot of new information for the next couple of months while I re-organize the media stored on the site. Included in that work will be completing as much information as I can about each stored piece of media.

22 August 2011 - 6:23:22pm I've finished a first pass at the tree of Celia Voigt Zimmerman, sister of Clara Voigt Weiss. The Voigt tree is starting to look pretty substantial.  View archive
